Enniskillen 62 Limavady/City of Derry/Inishowen 7

Enniskillen U18s rampaged to victory over Limavady/City of Derry/Inishowen (LCI) at the Kingspan Stadium with a scoreline of 62-7 in the Girls Club Cup semi-final.

It is the first year the competition finals have taken place at the home of Ulster Rugby and Enniskillen made full use of their day out in Belfast to book their spot in this season's final.

Skins made a bright start when Aimee Ross intercepted a pass and three passes later, Freya Brennan ran from the halfway line for the game's first try. Amy Meeke added two more points from the conversion.

LCI responded instantly after a knock-on from kick-off allowed them to get in for a try with the conversion on target.

A quick penalty that was tapped close to the try line allowed Amanda Farrell to bundle over the line for a second Skins try that was also converted.

Anna Wilson added a third shortly after the restart before Madeline Hamill got her name on the scoresheet with the latter tries conversion coming up just short, Enniskillen went into halftime in front 26-7.

Skins started the second half like a house on fire with three tries in the opening 15 minutes, Gemma Elliott helped herself to two of those with Hamill adding her second in between.

After a flowing move between Alex Boyd, Mia Deane and Niamh Barrett, the latter played Sarah Corry through for another try as there was no letup from Skins.

With time running down, there was time for more as after another try, Olivia Black and Gemma Elliot had strong runs before Anna Wilson slipped through for the penultimate try of the game.

Brennan rounded off the scoring in a one-sided half that promised a more competitive encounter after the opening 15 minutes of the game. From then on it was one-way traffic as the Skins advanced on into the Club Cup final for another day at the Kingspan Stadium.
