LENA MORTON

Published on 01/12/2016

MORTON - The family of the late Lena Morton of Cloncollow, Ballyconnell, wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their sad bereavement. A special thanks to all those who called to the family home and attended the funeral and to the many who brought gifts, sent sympathy cards and gave generous donations in lieu of flowers. A heart full thanks to those who brought refreshments, helped in the family home and assisted with the car parking during the wake and funeral. A special mention to the management and staff of the Oak View Nursing Home, Belturbet, Doctor Burke and Mrs Burke who all cared for Lena over the past number of years. Thanks also to family, friends and neighbours who regularly visited Lena there. Our appreciation to Reverend Richard Beadle and Reverend Tanya Clarke for their spiritual support and kindness to Lena over the years and for conducting her funeral service. Thank you to the organist Ms Beatrice Crawford, to Mrs Mavis Magee for reading and to the ladies who provided refreshments in the hall after the funeral. Our gratitude to Mr Clive Magee, funeral undertaker, who carried out the funeral arrangements in a caring, professional and dignified manner and also to the Gravediggers who prepared Lena’s final resting place. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of sincere gratitude and appreciation. Lena is survived by her son Kenneth, daughters Valerie and Mildred, son-in-law Robert, grandchildren and great grandchildren. ”She never asked for much in life, Her love was true and tender, She simply lived for those she loved, And those she loved remember”.
