McManus Pat Pauline, the wife of the late Pat, brother Brian, sisters Rosemary and Anna, Sister in Law and Brothers in Law and relatives would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us in our sad loss. We would like to acknowledge the help of our Relatives, Friends and Neighbours for their thoughtfulness and assistance throughout the wake, removal and Funeral. We sincerely thank everyone who called to the house and travelled long distances to be with us, also those who telephoned, sent cards, messages of condolences and those who donated to Friends of Cancer in lieu of flowers. A sincere thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses, Monsignor Cahill, Canon Mullen and Fr Kevin Duffy who attended Pat during his illness. A special word of thanks to Ollie Swift and Felix McCaffrey Funeral Undertakers for the dignified manner in which the Funeral arrangements were carried out and also the Gravediggers, Choir, St Marys Maguiresbridge Men and Ladies GFC who, led the Funeral cortege from his home to the Chapel where a guard of honour was formed from the younger members of the Clubs and St Comhghalls College for their guard of honour. We wish to express gratitude to Monsignor Cahill who celebrated the Funeral Mass and Fr Michael Tracey who travelled from Westport and assisted with the Mass. Thanks to the Readers, Altar Servers, and the Eucharistic Ministers. Finally thank you to Anthony McCormack and his Staff for providing the refreshments in the hall afterwards. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Pats Months Memory Mass will be celebrated in St Marys Church Maguiresbridge on Sunday 1st January at 10am.
