JOE CORRIGAN

CORRIGAN The Sons, Daughters, Daughter-in-law, Sons-in-law, Grandchildren and wider family circle of the late Joe Corrigan wish to express their sincere gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Our deepest appreciation to all those who attended the wake, brought gifts, sent Mass and sympathy cards, telephoned and attended the funeral and made donations in lieu of flowers. Thank you especially to Father Jimmy McPhillips for his support and guidance and for the beautiful Mass he celebrated for Daddy. We want to particularly thank Fr Brian D'Arcy for his attention to Daddy during his time in The Graan Abbey Nursing Home, his comfort and support on the night Daddy passed away and for concelebrating his Funeral Mass. A special thanks to Leeanne McGovern, Pat Meehan and John McGovern for their efficient, dignified and extremely sensitive approach to every request and for the support they were to us as a family. Thanks to all our friends and relatives who helped in so many ways, your kindness and practical support gave us great comfort. To all those who worked tirelessly in the kitchen throughout the wake, we will remember forever your thoughtfulness and generosity. Thanks to all who directed traffic during the wake and on the morning of the funeral. Thank you to all Daddy's friends and relatives who visited him in the Graan. A special thank you to Derrygonnelly Harps GFC for remembering his passion and lifelong contribution to the club and for attending his wake and funeral in such large numbers and for the impressive guards of honour at both Monea and Derrygonnelly. Thank you to all who took part in Daddy's Funeral Mass, the Readers, Altar Boys, Eucharistic Ministers and Noleen O'Neill Soloist. We would also like to thank Earl Ferguson for digging the grave, we know it wasn't easy. Thanks is also due to the nursing, caring and kitchen staff at the Graan Abbey Nursing Home for their kindness to Daddy over the years. Thanks also to Dr Joe McConville who provided such excellent medical care to him over many years.. Thanks to the Community Centre for the refreshments after the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation for all. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. The Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in the Community Centre, Derrygonnelly on the 9th April at 11.30am
