BERNARD McALEER

Mc ALEER Bernard of Drumgivery, Ederney. Passed away peacefuly on the 26th June, 2017. R.I.P. The family of the late Bernard McAleer would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all those who supported and sympathised with us on the loss of our loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Thank you to all our wonderful neighbours, family, friends and local businesses that assisted during the wake and brought food. To all those who sent Mass and sympathy cards and gave donations in lieu of flowers to the "Friends of The Cancer Centre," attended the wake and funeral and shared their fond memories of Bernard's life. You were all such a support and strength to our family. A special thank you to the nurses, care workers and Janet Kilfedder who took care of Bernard over the last 18 months and especially to the staff of Belfast City Hospital and Ward 2 of the SWAH especially Dr. Khan, Dr. Robinson and their teams. A sincere word of thanks to Fr. Frank McManus who offered our family support at this time and throughout Bernard's illness and celebrated his Funeral Mass and to Fr. McGourty who called to our home. Our grateful appreciation to the Undertaker Claude McKervey for the dignified, professional and sensitive manner in which he carried out Bernard's funeral arrangements, making it a lot easier for us as a family. Thank you to the gravediggers who prepared Bernard's final resting place. A special thank you needs to be extended to those who took part in the Funeral Mass, the Eucharistic Ministers, and altar servers and musicians. Thank you to the Bawnacre Centre for providing refreshments after the burial. As it is impossible to thank all those concerned individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our heartfelt and sincere appreciation. Bernard's Month's Mind Mass will be held in St. Joseph's Church, Ederney on Friday, 28th July at 7.30pm.
