KATHLEEN Mc SHEA

Mc SHEA Kathleen (nee Gray) Markethill, Springfield Died 14 July 2017 Aged 93 The families of Kevin, Noel, Una and Paul, and the wider family circles of Mc Shea and Gray, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the peaceful death of our mother, Kathleen. We offer our heartfelt thanks to all who travelled from near and far to attend the wake and funeral. A huge thanks to all who called, brought gifts, sent Mass and sympathy cards, letters, floral tributes, telephoned, and to all our family, friends and neighbours who helped out in so many other practical ways. Thanks to our friend Fr Niall Martin who celebrated the Funeral Mass and for his regular visits to Kathleen in hospital and the Nursing Home; his support, constant encouragement and words of comfort have been appreciated by all the family. Thanks to Patricia Rogers, Tempo for her beautiful music and singing. Thank you also to our friend, John Mc Keegan, Funeral Undertaker, for the professional and dignified manner in which he conducted the funeral and to the gravedigger who prepared her final resting place. Thank you to our kind neighbours for the use of the Evangelical Church Car Park. Thanks also to Tir Navar for refreshments. A special thank you to Fr Jimmy Mc Phillips for his continuing support and many visits to our mother both in the Nursing Home and Hospital. Thanks to all the home helps for their invaluable support whilst caring for Kathleen prior to going to the Nursing Home, especially Nancy and Ciara, and also the ladies who delivered her dinners. A special word of thanks to all the Nurses and Carers of the County Care Nursing Home for their kindness and respect whilst looking after Kathleen; to the Doctors and Nurses in SWAH and to GPs and Secretaries in Lakeside Medical Centre, Social Worker, Seana McIntyre and also to Clare Maguire for their ongoing support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation to all. "Grace was in all her steps, heaven in her eye, in every gesture, dignity and love." Kathleen's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 12th August 2017 at 7.00 p.m. in Immaculate Conception Church Monea.
