Published on 17/08/2017

TIERNEY The Tierney and McFarland families of the late Jim Tierney, formerly of 3 Cathedral Close, Clogher and latterly of Northwick House Residential Home, Brookeborough, wish to express our sincere and grateful thanks to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement, especially those who visited, telephoned, sent cards, brought food, attended the funeral and gave donations in lieu of flowers. Also to the staff at Clogher Day Centre, Carers who called daily at his home, and staff of Northwick House who all cared for Jim so lovingly. Thanks also to all his many kind friends who visited him, took him to different outings and gave him lifts in their cars, and to his kind neighbours in Cathedral Close. Thanks also to Rev Canon Armstrong who conducted the service and burial, John Hull the Saxon, and the gravedigger. Also special thanks to British Legion for the use of the hall for tea and to Caroline's Kitchens, Brookeborough for providing a beautiful tea after the burial. We would also like to thank S R Elliott & Sons, Funeral Directors who carried out the funeral in a dignified and professional manner, and for all their help and support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.
