PRENTICE Thomas James. Died 21st July, 2017. Aged 87. Late of Lisboy, Tempo. The brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews of the late Thomas James Prentice, wish to convey their sincere appreciation and thanks to all those who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement. To all those who called to his nieces home, sent sympathy cards and attended his funeral. A special thanks to everyone who looked after James throughout his life, in particular thanks to his sister-in-law Audrey and niece Valerie. James was a resident of Westbridge House, Enniskillen for ten years and we wish to express our thanks to Mrs. Una Quinn the then warden for her friendship and dedicated support of James and other residents. To the management and staff of The County Care Nursing Home where he resided for the past eight years, we wish to express our thanks for the high standard of care and friendship James received as he called it home and found himself supported and comfortable. The staff fondly called him Uncle James. Thank you to Dr. McConville and his team at the Erne Health Centre, Erne Road, Enniskillen, for the care and attention given to James over the past number of years. To the Staff of A&E and Ward 6, South West Acute Hospital, thank-you for your medical care and support during his short illness. A special word of thanks to Rev. Darrin Thompson for his support, and conducting the funeral service. The Rector Revd. John McClenaghan who participated in the funeral service, and the select vestry of St. Ronan's Church of Ireland, Colebrooke, for giving permission for the funeral service, and commital to be held there. Our thanks to the organist Mrs. Quinn for making herself available to take part in the service. We would also like to thank Mr. Ian McCutcheon and Mr. Ryan McCutcheon the gravediggers who prepared Jame's final resting place. Our thanks to the ladies of Fivemiletown Methodist Circuit for providing the tea following the commital. Our thanks to S.R. Elliott & Sons, Funeral Directors who carried out funeral arrangements in a professional, dignified and sensitive manner. James was a member of Darling Street Methodist Church and in his memory donations in lieu of flowers can be received by S.R. Elliott & Sons Funeral Directors, 17 Darling Street, Enniskillen, BT74 7DP. As it is impossible to thank everyone, please accept this as a token of our sincere and heartfelt appreciation.
