IRENE LYSTER

LYSTER Irene (née Kerr) Corvalley, Braddox, Co. Monaghan. 17th September, 2017 Irene's family, Dorothy and Kenneth (Dale), Arlene, Andrew and Elaine, Stephen and Alison, Fiona and Keith (Johnston), sister Mavis, grandchildren and extended family, wish to express their sincere thanks and appreciation for the support they received throughout their recent sad bereavement. We especially remember Irene's husband Bob (1988) and sons John (1980) and David (2009) at this time. We would like to express our appreciation to the Medical Consultants, Doctors and staff of Cavan General Hospital and the Mater Hospital, Dublin for their wonderful care and support. We give credit to each ambulance crew for the gentle and compassionate way they carried out their work. Our heartfelt thanks to the Palliative Care Team, the Community Nurse, the Home Care Staff and Irene the Night Nurse for the caring and loving manner in which they looked after our Mum, their kindness and friendship to us will never be forgotten and for this we are truly grateful. Thank you to all who visited Mum in Cavan Hospital, to her friends for all the wonderful times they spent together, and all who called to the house over the years, their visits meant so much to her. The help and support of our relatives, friends and neighbours was invaluable at this time, in the home, providing refreshments and food, managing the traffic, the parking and for assisting in so many ways, we are extremely grateful to you all. We appreciated all those who called to the house, sent gifts, emailed, telephoned, sent sympathy cards, letters and flowers. We are very thankful to all who attended the funeral, to Rev David Hagan for his pastoral care and for the beautiful tribute which truly reflected Irene's life, Mrs Esther Gray the organist, the choir, and to all those who travelled long distances to be with us at this difficult time. We are very grateful to everyone who made donations to Palliative Care and Clontibret Presbyterian Church. Our sincere thanks to David Conly, Funeral Director for the dignified and caring manner in which he organised and carried out the funeral arrangements, to those who prepared our mother's final resting place with great care and attention, Croziers for the refreshments served after the service and to the Church for the use of the Hall. The family really appreciated the food sent by Gerry's Take Away the evening after the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks. Rawdeery, Corvalley, Lisleitrim, Lisbellaw and London.
