Margaret McGuinness

Mc GUINNESS Margaret (Babs) Died 9th November, 2017 The husband Paddy and sister Mary of the late Babs McGuinness (Aisling House, Belcoo), would like to express their sincere gratitude to all who supported and helped them in so many ways during their recent sad bereavement. Thank you to our kind neighbours, friends and family who helped in the house and to everyone who called to the home, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters or telephoned. Thank you to all Staff at SWAH Ward 6 for the excellent care you gave to Babs and for your kindness to Paddy at a very difficult time. We express our deep gratitude to Dr. Cunningham and to the Staff at The Graan Abbey Care Home who cared for Babs over the years. Thank you to Monsignore Peter O'Reilly, to Canon John Finnegan and Fr. Seamus Quinn for their support during Babs' illness and at this time. A special thank you to Canon Michael McGourty for his frequent visits to Babs over the years, and who along with Fr. Niall Martin, received Babs at St. Patrick's Church on Friday evening; to Fr. Niall Martin for his comforting words and meaningful Funeral Mass and for his continued support. Sincere thanks to Ally Harron and Marion for their beautiful music and to all who took part in the Mass Liturgy, Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Gift Bearers and Sacristan. To all who attended Babs' funeral, many of whom travelled long distances. To those who have given donations in lieu of flowers. To the men who provided traffic management at the McGuinness home and at the church. To Dawn and Staff at The Lough Melvin Centre. To Stewart Electical who provided extra lighting at the home. To Conway Undertakers for the caring and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. To John McGovern for preparing Babs' final resting place, to the Staff at the Customs House who provided refreshments in the Community Centre following the funeral and to everyone who helped in any way and those who continue to offer their support to us. As it is impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgment of our heartfelt appreciation. Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated at The Graan on Friday, 8th December, 2017 at 10.30am.
