Published on 04/01/2018

ARMSTRONG Sarah (Betty) Elizabeth, died 4th December, 2017. The Allen, Balfour and Cruwys families would like to express their sincere appreciation and thanks to everyone who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all who visited Ballycassidy House Funeral Home to sympathise and to those who sent letters, cards or telephoned messages. In particular we would like to thank the Consultants, Doctors, Nurses and Ward Staff on Wards 3 and 8 in the South West Acute Hospital for the excellent level of care Betty received during her recent stay in both these Wards. We cannot ever hope to thank all Members of Staff who demonstrated such high levels of professionalism and dedication throughout Betty's term in hospital. Thank you to Austen Stinson of W. T. Morrison Undertakers for the dignified and professional manner in carrying out the Funeral arrangements. Thank you also to readers Lorna Keane and Pamela Winter and to Betty's sister Evelyn Cruwys who played the organ and to the Choir Members who sang at the service. Thank you to Ernie Clarke who controlled the traffic on a very busy road. We would also like to thank the Doctors at Irvinestown Health Centre, Canon Mark Watson for his regular hospital visits and pastoral care, to Saddlers Catering for providing the refreshments at both locations and the Ladies of the Parish who helped in serving teas in the Community Hall after the Funeral. Thanks also to Tanya Johnston and the staff of the Village Pharmacy. Thanks to the Carers who attended to Betty with such kindness in her home. Although we cannot name all those who helped in any way individually, we trust you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation of your kind deeds, thoughts and prayers at this time.
