Mc MAHON Hugh Died 25th December 2017 Hugh's wife Vonnie, sons, daughters and entire family circle would like to express sincere appreciation and thanks to everyone who offered sympathy at the time of his death. To all those who came to the house, brought food, phoned, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers,travelled long distances for the funeral and shared lovely memories of our father, thank you for your kindness. Our deepest thanks go to our very kind neighbours and friends who worked tirelessly making tea and serving refreshments throughout the wake. Our heartfelt thanks go Fr Brendan Gallagher for his meaningful and fitting homily and to Fr Dolan who concelebrated the Funeral Mass which was a wonderful celebration of Dad's life. Our thanks also go to Canon Dawson for his pastoral support to the family. We offer our appreciation to St. Mary's Choir for their lovely hymns and music which included many of Dad's favourites. We would like to thank Brian, Donal and Paudge from Quinn Undertakers for the dignified way in which they carried out all the arrangements and to John McKeegan for his help. Thank you to the PSNI for directing traffic on the day of the funeral. Our thanks go to the Valley Hotel for the refreshments after the funeral and to all the staff in Spar, Fivemiletown for their support. We also extend our thanks to the staff of Valley Medical Practice. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our sincere appreciation. Dad had a long and healthy life and was blessed with lots of great friends. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Hugh's Month Mind Mass along with his daughter Veronica's Anniversary Mass will take place on Sunday 28th January at 11:30 am in St. Mary's Church, Fivemiletown.
