HUBERT ROONEY

ROONEY Hubert Died 12 January 2018 Hubert's brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family circle wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to those who called to the home, brought gifts, telephoned, sent Mass/sympathy cards, floral tributes and all who attended the Funeral Mass. We would like to thank the following for their professionalism and loving care shown to Hubert during his last weeks: the doctors and staff of The Maple Group Practice, Ward 8 staff SWAH, the Tempo District nurses who were outstanding in their duty of care, staff at Clarke's Chemist. Heartfelt thanks also to the lovely carers from Enable Home Care, Janet the Palliative Care Nurse, the Rapid Response Team and the wonderful Marie Curie nurses. A special word of thanks to Canon Dawson, Fr Gallagher and Monsignor Mohan who attended Hubert so attentively throughout his sickness. Sincere thanks to Canon Dawson for celebrating Hubert's Funeral Mass and for his meaningful and moving homily. Thank you to the sacristan, the altar servers, the musicians and choir for their lovely music and singing. Thanks also to everyone who worked tirelessly in the home throughout the wake. Thank you to Paul and Yvonne Mohan, Aidan Connolly and Conor Clerkin for the dignified, professional and supportive manner with which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Thanks to Aaron for making Hubert's final journey a personal one. A very special thank you to the grave diggers who prepared Hubert's final resting place. Thanks also to all those who helped out in providing refreshments after the funeral in Brookeborough Sports Complex. Finally the family would especially like to thank the wonderful group of ceiliers that have always called to the house over the years and continued to do so with such loyalty and support during Hubert's illness. As it would be impossible to thank everyone personally we hope that this will be accepted as a token of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Hubert's Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 18th February at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, Coonian.
