WADDELL Mary (Nee Kelly) Died peacefully 20th February, 2018 The family of the late Mary Waddell, her husband Sam, her son Michael (Carmel), her grandchildren Malachy and Maia, her sister Rosaleen (Bill) Irvine, her brother Patrick (Pat) Kelly (Kathleen) and entire family circle wish to sincerely thank all those who sympathised and supported them on their recent bereavement. Thank you to all who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolence and to those who attended the funeral. A special word of thanks to those who travelled long distances to be there, we appreciate your presence. We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to those who attended to Mary in her time of need. The Doctors, Nurses and Medical Staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital, The Mater Hospital, the Cancer Centre, the District Nursing Services, her Doctor Dermot O'Kane, Mary's friend and work colleagues and also Karen McManus. We would like to thank you all for the dignified and compassionate care each of you offered to Mary during her illness and final days. We would like to offer our thanks to Fr. John Halton and Monsignor Joseph McGuinness for the beautiful Requiem Mass and for their support during this sad and difficult time. Thank you to Clare (and Eoghan) for the beautiful music and her support at this time. Our thanks also to Tempo G.F.C. for providing a guard of honour and for their help with stewarding and car parking arrangements. A special word of thanks to John McKeegan, Funeral Director, for carrying out his duties in a dignified and professional manner. Also, thanks to the Gravediggers for preparing Mary's final resting place. Thanks to everyone who made a donation to 'Friends of The Cancer Centre' in lieu of flowers. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our gratitude and appreciation. Mary's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Tempo on Sunday, 25th March at 11.00am.
