ROONEY Vincent Knocknalare, Roslea, Co. Fermanagh. Who passed away peacefully at home on the 6th March, 2018. Vincent's wife Margaret, son Ciaran, daughters Sheila, Una, Christine and Dympna, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sister, brothers and extended family wish to express their heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Sincere thanks to our very kind neighbours, relatives and friends who helped us in so many ways and continue to do so. Thanks to everyone who cooked and brought food, served refreshments and worked tirelessly in our home and on the farm, thanks also to those who provided seating, arranged the lighting around the house, the Committee of Derrygannon Hall for the use of the car park, those who organised and managed the traffic, parking and provided the shuttle bus service and lifts to the house. We would also like to thank all those who visited our home and attended the Funeral Mass, many of whom travelled long distances to be with us. We offer sincere thanks to Fr. John Chester PP, Roslea, Mgr. Vincent Connolly PE, Roslea, Fr. John Flanagan PP, Errigal Truagh, Fr. Hubert Martin PP, Donagh, Fr. Frendan Gallagher PP, Brookeboro and Canon Laurence Dawson PE, Brookeboro, who all called to our home to offer their support and prayers to our family. We thank all those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters of condolence, telephone calls, text messages and floral tributes. We would also like to express our gratitude to the pallbearers who carried the coffin on Vincent's final journey from Knocknalare. Our heartfelt thanks to Fr. John Chester P.P. who looked after Vincent's spiritual needs every First Friday and for his many calls to our home in the past number of weeks and throughout the wake. We would like to thank Fr. Chester for celebrating Vincent's Funeral Mass, officiating at the graveside and for his heartfelt and sincere homily. Thanks also to the Choir, soloist Patsy McPhillips and organist Nicola Cusack for the beautiful hymns and singing during the Funeral Mass. We also thank Michael McKenna (Sacristan) and all those who took part in the Funeral Liturgy and Mass. To Roslea Shamrocks G.F.C. and Vincent's Carers for their guards of honour before and after the Funeral Mass. A very special thanks to all of Vincent's Carers who looked after Vincent with excellent care and attention in his home for three years. To Dr. Donal Collins and Roslea Medical Practice and more recently the Doctors and Staff of the Maple Group Practice in Lisnaskea for all their assistance. Also, thanks to the Social Workers, District Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and all the Medical and Nursing Staff who called to our home and provided care and assistance to Vincent. Special thanks also to the Staff of McDaid's Pharmacy, Roslea, for their professionalism and kindness. We extend our gratitude to Aidan Connolly, Funeral Director, Paul Mohan and Conor Clerkin for their sensitive, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Special thanks also to all the Gravediggers who prepared Vincent's final resting place with such care and attention.Thanks to the Management and Staff of McCagues Bar and Restaurant, Roslea, for providing the lovely food after the funeral. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Vincent's Month's Memory Mass will be celebrated in St. Tierney's Church, Roslea on Saturday, 14th April, 2018 at 6.30pm
