ARMSTRONG John James (Jim). Jim's wife Margaret and son Neil wish to express their sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. We appreciated the support of all who called at the family home, telephoned, sent cards of condolence, attended the funeral and gave donations in lieu of flowers to the Chest, Heart and Stroke Association. A special thank you to all the staff at the County Care Nursing Home and South West Acute Hospital who cared for Jim over the past few years with such kindness and respect. To the Reverend Paul Thompson we convey our sincere appreciation for his comforting presence, pastoral care and kind thoughts at the funeral service. Thanks also to the organist, grave digger and the ladies of Derryvullen North Parish Church for providing the catering after the funeral service. Our grateful appreciation to S. R. Elliott and Sons, Funeral Directors who carried out the funeral arrangements in a most dignified, respectful, professional and sympathetic manner. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
