SHAW Thomas John (Jack). The wife Maud, sons Rodney and Paul, daughters Kim and Debbie, sister Betty and their extended families of the late Jack Shaw would like to express sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. We are grateful to all those who visited Jack and supported us during his illness, attended the Removal and Funeral, called at the house, brought gifts of food and flowers, sent cards and messages of sympathy, and gave generous donations in lieu of flowers to Cancer Connect and Marie Curie. Sincere thanks to Very Rev Kenneth Hall, Rev Chris Mac Bruithlin, Rev Ollie Downey and Mr Will Stevenson for their many pastoral visits, and prayerful support. We would especially like to thank the Very Rev. Kenneth Hall for conducting such a moving and uplifting Funeral Service and the Rev Chris Mac Bruithlin who assisted at the Funeral Service and conducted the Removal Service. Thanks to the organist Mr Glen Moore, and the readers Mr Paul Shaw, Ms Kayleigh Smith and Miss Lily Shaw and the soloist Mrs Avril Donnelly. Our grateful thanks and appreciation for the care and attention given to Jack by Dr Kettle and the Nursing Staff of Belfast City Hospital also the Doctors and Nurses of South West Acute Hospital, Dr Guette and Staff of Devenish Practice, District Nurses Mrs Violet Rutledge and Mrs Mary Higgins, Mrs Janet Kilfedder N.I. Hospice, Mr Jonathan Isherwood - Marie Curie, Mr Sidney Parkinson and the Staff of Lloyds Pharmacy. Our thanks to Mr Norman Coalter and his Staff for providing the food and the Ladies of St Macartin's Mothers Union for serving refreshments after the service. Finally, we extend our thanks to Mr Austen Stinson and Mr Ken Coulter for the caring and dignified manner in which they carried out the Funeral arrangements also thanks to the Gravediggers. As it is impossible to thank everyone we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.
