KATHLEEN BLACKBURN

BLACKBURN Kathleen Violet (Kay) The husband Kenny, sons Herbie and William, daughters Margaret, Linda, Isabelle, Lesley-Anne, Alison and their families would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Kay fought her illness with amazing courage and positivity, always comforted by her faith. We would like to express most sincere thanks to all those who supported Kay and us as a family. Thank you to all the kind friends and neighbours who called at the home, brought gifts, sent messages of sympathy, telephoned, those who attended the Funeral or helped in any way. A special thanks to all who have donated in Kay's memory to the Palliative Care Unit in Omagh. We would like to express heartfelt thanks to her sister-in-law Betty for her love, support and assistance to Kay over the last number of years. The family would like to express thanks to all who cared for Kay throughout her journey. Dr Boyd and the Valley Nursing Practice, also to the Clogher District Nursing Team, the Staff of the Cancer Centre Belfast City Hospital and Craigavon Area Hospital. Most special thanks are extended to the truly amazing Nursing and Medical Team of the Palliative Care Ward in Omagh Hospital for all their excellent care and kindness to Kay, and also support to the family. Thanks to family friend The Very Rev Kenneth Hall for his prayerful support. Our special and sincere thanks to the Rev Nick Cooper for his outstanding pastoral care to Kay during her illness and for his words of comfort in the home, during the Funeral Service, and at the graveside. To Rebecca for the beautiful music, the Members of Ballygawley Presbyterian Church for their help at the Funeral Service and also to 'Crozier Catering', for providing the Funeral tea. Finally, our heartfelt thanks to F. Martin & Sons Funeral Directors for the caring and dignified manner in which they conducted Kay's Funeral arrangements. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all in grateful appreciation. Mummy was the love, light and inspiration of our lives and will be loved and missed forever and always. "Safe in God's Keeping".
