Published on 07/06/2018

MAGUIRE Susan (Sue) Kilgarret, Newtownbulter 7th May 2018 The family of the late Susan (Sue) Maguire, her brother, sisters, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and the wider family circle wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with them in their recent sad loss. Our deepest gratitude to all those who have shown overwhelming support, who kept vigil and helped us through this very sad time. A special word of thanks to all those who attended the wake and Funeral, those who travelled, telephoned, sent Mass and sympathy cards. Much appreciation to all extended family members, relatives, friends and neighbours who provided refreshments and helped in so many practical ways. The entire family are eternally grateful to all those who cared for Sue during her time of illness. We would especially like to thank Jill and the staff of Gortacharn Nursing Home for their dedication and care to Sue and also the Cancer Unit, Belfast City Hospital. We would like to thank Father Michael King for his beautiful Requiem Mass and very fitting spiritual Homily. Much appreciation to Lorraine and Tommy and St Mary's Choir for their beautiful singing and to all those who added so much to the very moving Service. We would also like to thank, Sean Kelly the solo piper who provided a very dignified Guard of Honour and a special word of thanks to the Parish Hall Committee who provided refreshments after the service. Our gratitude to Swift and McCaffrey Undertakers for the thoughtful and dignified manner in which they carried out the Funeral arrangements. A word of thanks to the Gravediggers for preparing Sue's final resting place so respectfully. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Sue's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 10th June at 11.30am in St. Mary's Church, Newtownbutler.
