  • U14 Squad faces the hardest draw
    1. Football: Milk Cup - The Northern Ireland Milk Cup opens next Monday with a parade through the streets of Coleraine to the Showgrounds for the opening by Blackburn Rovers manager, Graeme Souness. Both Fermanagh teams will experience the atmosphere of the opening parade as expected hundreds of supporters from the Erne county are to enjoy a week of quality football in Europe’s top youth tournament. U16 manager, Graham Brown, appealed for the supporters to come out to the county’s games at both age groups and give the teams the type of support the U16s received in their win over Tyrone in the Northern Bank Trophy quarter final last year at Ruby Avenue - he felt it made the difference on the night.

    1. GAA Fermanagh Ladies Junior Championship Final: Cleenish 6-09, Lisnaskea 0-08 - Cleenish claimed their first ever Fermanagh Junior Championship title last Saturday with a thoroughly deserved victory over Lisnaskea at a well attended final at McManus Park, Kinawley. A totally dominant first half performance laid the foundations for this impressive victory and Lisnaskea will undoubtedly rue the sending off of Lynette Maguire in the opening minute. The margin of victory however, should not allow the dismissal to negate the fact that this was a much deserved victory in which the stronger team prevailed.
