Ulster final beckons for U-21s
GAA: Ulster U21 Championship:
Fermanagh 0-13; Cavan 0-10 - A
superb first half performance by
Fermanagh was the basis for this
victory which saw Fermanagh
progress to this years Ulster U-21
Championship final. Even a second
half come back by Cavan which saw
them close the gap to two points at
one stage was not enough to deny
Fermanagh. They now go on to meet
reigning All-Ireland champions and
red hot favourites Tyrone who
disposed of Monaghan in the other
semi-final.

Vital two league points for Skins
RUGBY: Enniskillen 26; Ballyclare 14
- Just reward at last for Skins on
Saturday, the Mullaghmeen Men
revelling in the dry conditions at
Portora and eventually over-running
Ballyclare to record their first league
win of 2001. A solid performance in
all areas secured the two vital points,
although the now customary lapse in
concentration midway through the
second half almost brought another
bitter defeat. Leading by eighteen
points to nine Skins relaxed a little
and allowed a soft Ballyclare try to
bring the result back into contention,
before a typically abrasive Robbie
Watson tackle halted the Ballyclare
momentum and put Skins back on
the offensive, a Kenny Hutchinson try
then sealing the win.

Marshall Clarke on the trail of
Cherokees in Tennessee
RALLYING: Cherokee Trails Rally -
With the motorsport season in the
UK and Ireland at a standstill, there
are many frustrated competitors
awaiting the day when they can jump
back in their cars and let loose on
the closed roads of a special stage
again. Some competitors however
are willing to go to extreme lengths to
get some competitive miles, and
local Enniskillen man Marshall
Clarke is one who went further than
most.
