GAA: Ulster U21 Championship: Fermanagh 0-13; Cavan 0-10 - A superb first half performance by Fermanagh was the basis for this victory which saw Fermanagh progress to this years Ulster U-21 Championship final. Even a second half come back by Cavan which saw them close the gap to two points at one stage was not enough to deny Fermanagh. They now go on to meet reigning All-Ireland champions and red hot favourites Tyrone who disposed of Monaghan in the other semi-final.

    1. FOOTBALL: Impartial Reporter Mulhern Cup - Lisnaskea Rovers 2; Sperrin Athletic 1 - Lisnaskea Rovers edged their way into the quarter finals of the Impartial Reporter sponsored Mulhern Cup with a scrappy win over Sperrin Athletic at the Fermanagh venue on Saturday.

    1. FOOTBALL: Division One - Enniskillen Town Utd 2; Enniskillen Rangers 3 - Enniskillen Rangers completed the double over rivals Enniskillen Town in what was a poor derby game at Celtic Park on Saturday with best moment of the game being the winning strike by Shane Boyd.

  • Vital two league points for Skins
    1. RUGBY: Enniskillen 26; Ballyclare 14 - Just reward at last for Skins on Saturday, the Mullaghmeen Men revelling in the dry conditions at Portora and eventually over-running Ballyclare to record their first league win of 2001. A solid performance in all areas secured the two vital points, although the now customary lapse in concentration midway through the second half almost brought another bitter defeat. Leading by eighteen points to nine Skins relaxed a little and allowed a soft Ballyclare try to bring the result back into contention, before a typically abrasive Robbie Watson tackle halted the Ballyclare momentum and put Skins back on the offensive, a Kenny Hutchinson try then sealing the win.

    1. RUGBY: Ballymoney 1st XV 5; Clogher Valley 1st XV 17 - With impressive league and cup victories over Ballymoney earlier in the season, Clogher Valley travelled with some confidence to the Co Antrim venue on Saturday to resume their league campaign.

RALLYING: Cherokee Trails Rally - With the motorsport season in the UK and Ireland at a standstill, there are many frustrated competitors awaiting the day when they can jump back in their cars and let loose on the closed roads of a special stage again. Some competitors however are willing to go to extreme lengths to get some competitive miles, and local Enniskillen man Marshall Clarke is one who went further than most.
