Mr. Percy Allen
The death occurred suddenly on 19th February, 2003, of Mr. Percy Allen, at his home at 5 Cardigan Court, Luton, England.

Formerly of Tedd, Drumharvey, Irvinestown, he was a son of the late John and Angeline Allen and was one of a family of fifteen children.

    Born in 1939, he was educated at Aghagaffert National School. On leaving school he worked for local farmers before taking employment in the building trade with the late Mr. Stanley Potter.

    In 1964 he moved to Luton, England, where he continued to work in the building trade until ill health curtailed his employment. In latter years he spent some of his time doing light gardening for friends he had made during his 39 years in Luton.

    The funeral service was held on 9th March, 2003, at Derryvullen North Parish Church, Irvinestown, conducted by Rev. Raymond Thompson.

    He is survived by four sisters and six brothers, Kathleen, Noreen, Violet, Hazel, Norman, Dougie, Winston, Basil, Walter and Ivan.

    The funeral arrangements were carried out by S. R. Elliott & Sons, Darling Street, Enniskillen.
