The death occurred peacefully at the Erne Hospital, Enniskillen, of Mrs. Elizabeth Wadsworth, formerly of Derryscobe, Letterbreen, Enniskillen.

Mrs. Wadsworth was born on 29 January, 1918 in Killala, Co. Mayo; later in 1935 the family moved to Ballaghmore, Rossorry, Enniskillen. She was the eighth in ten of a family of the late Joseph and Marjorie Alexander.

    She married the late Mr. Robbie Wadsworth on 26 September, 1944 and made their home in Coolyermor, then moved to Drumconlan and later to Derryscobe, Letterbreen.

    Mrs. Wadsworth was a Christian lady who had a great interest in her church. She was a member of the Select Vestry and Mothers’ Union for many years in Mullaghdun Parish Church.

    She was a founder member of Spa Well W.L.O.L., a member of Fermanagh No. 1 District W.L.O.L. and also a member of the Fermanagh Unionist Association.

    She will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother, devoted to her family, friends and church.

    The Rector, the Rev. Geoff Bridle, conducted the funeral service in Mullaghdun Parish Church and burial was in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery. The organist was Mrs. Vera Gibson and the hymns were: “Here, O my Lord, I see thee face to face” and “Father, I place into your hands”.

    Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Robbie on 19 September, 1993. She is survived by her daughter Dorothy, two sons, Fred and Roy, brother Bob and the wide family circle.

    The funeral arrangements were by W. T. Morrison, Enniskillen.
