leader, Andrew Grey, welcomed the large
audience of parents and friends of the club
and introduced Lorraine Elliott, Secretary,
who presented a comprehensive report of
the 2002/3 season.

Farmers should be aware of LFA
implications before completing IACS forms
Following the first IACS clinics in
Fermanagh, Mr Pat McGrade, County
Chairman of the Northern Ireland
Agricultural Producers’ Association has
warned farmers to become aware of the
implications of new proposals for LFA
payments and how they might affect their
farm incomes.

Farmers reminded of deadline for fallen
animals response
Farmers have received a letter from the
Department of Agriculture and Rural
Development about the new EU Animal
By-Products Regulation, which will ban the
routine on-farm burial and burning of animal
carcases in the UK from 1 May 2003.
