Mr. Henry Noble
A well-known farmer and cattle dealer, Henry (Harry) Noble from Drumshane, Lisnarick has died in sudden and tragic circumstances on March 20.

Born on January 19, 1920 at Dromore Big, Drumskinney, Kesh, Henry was one of a family of five, (three brothers and two sisters). He attended Dernasesk School leaving at an early age to work on the home farm. He went on to become a cattle dealer travelling to marts on both sides of the border. Although he had not been attending agricultural sales in recent years he was still remembered and held in high regard by many of those associated with the trade, as was evident from the large attendance at his funeral.

In 1945 he married Alice Frazer from Muckross, Kesh, and set up home at Agharainey where their two children were born. Around 1955 they moved to Lisnarick and eventually on retirement moved a short distance to ‘Bon-Air”, Drumshane.

The service of thanksgiving for Henry’s life took place in Castle Archdale Church. It was conducted by the rector, Canon Raymond Thompson. The hymns were “What a Friend We Have in Jesus”, and “Nearer My God to Thee”. A solo, “The Lord’s My Shepherd” was sung by Mr. John Craig. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

Henry was predeceased by his wife, Alice, and son-in-law Tommy Robinson and is survived by his daughter Ivy, Irvinestown and son Ernest, Lisnarick. He leaves four grandchildren Bert, Jill, Vanessa and Priscilla, also one great grand-daughter, Molly.

He also leaves two sisters Margaret Ann, Scotland, and Irene, Drumclay Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Bob and George.

The funeral arrangements were by S. R. Elliott and Sons, Darling Street, Enniskillen.
