Police driver not prosecuted after ambulance crash

An advanced police driver has been disciplined after a Police Ombudsman investigation found that his driving had fallen below the required standard while escorting an ambulance which crashed near Brookeborough in January 2011. The officer, however, will not be prosecuted.
