ENNISKILLEN was chosen as the location for Little Wings pizzeria’s sixth location because of “the warmth and friendliness of the people.” Twenty new jobs will be created with the opening of the 55 seater pizzeria in July, with Managing Director Luke Wolsey saying he is looking forward to setting up in the “vibrant town”.

An investment of £250,000 has been made in the facility which will be situated on Enniskillen’s High Street, between Vogue ladies wear and Savers health and beauty store.

Little Wings has five other restaurants in Belfast and Bangor.

Commenting on why he chose Enniskillen, Mr. Wolsey tells The Impartial Reporter: ““On researching locations for our newest Little Wing, we felt that Enniskillen offered the attributes we look for when choosing a site for our restaurants. Enniskillen has a great town centre, with lots to do and we felt the Little Wing brand was a good fit for this vibrant town. Little Wing offers great quality food and service at affordable prices, which is attractive to wide range of people including young families, young professionals and students, which are demographics that the town has in abundance.

“We were also drawn by the warmth and friendliness of the people. One of our builders told me recently that even the traffic wardens are friendly, which gives us a real measure of the town. We’re looking forward to opening next month and to getting to know the people of Enniskillen better.” Established in Belfast in October 2009, Little Wing Pizzeria has sold over one million pizzas in Northern Ireland to date. The Enniskillen branch will bring the total number of people employed across all Little Wing outlets to 115.

A Bangor born restaurateur, Mr.Wolsey, calls on locals to apply for jobs at the restaurant, stating that “real and meaningful long term career opportunities” are available if they are “passionate about hospitality and customer service.” He continues: “We are really looking forward to spreading our wings and becoming involved with the local area and supporting local causes in the community. Little Wing is committed to the community and has raised nearly £40,000 over the last six years for charity.” Catherine MacDonald has been appointed general manager of the new Enniskillen restaurant. She comments: “Little Wing offers great career progression opportunities and I would encourage people looking for a career in hospitality to get in touch.

“Within two years of joining Little Wing at their Bangor restaurant in 2010, I had progressed to become a supervisor, quickly followed by a further promotion to assistant manager. Having been general manager of the Lisburn Road restaurant in Belfast since the beginning of 2015, I’m relishing the challenge of opening our newest branch in Enniskillen.
