The Lakeland Cycling Club staged their second road race on the club calendar recently with Omagh Wheelers rider Ivan Reid clinching the victory ahead Eugene Power and Raymond Dunlop.

Local riders fare well in Grand Prix
There was a number of top performances from local riders in the highly popular Lakeland Grand Prix which took place over a 45 mile loop of Fermanagh on Saturday.

Sweet win for Martin as Kenny takes third
The sun shone brightly for the Lakeland club as it opened its calendar with its ever popular St. Patrick's Day 10 mile time trial which was run from Maguiresbrige to Tempo, back to Maguiresbridge and was kindly sponsored by Pubble Tree Nursery.

Mark promises bigger and better next year
Last weekend's Fermanagh Cycling Festival, sponsored by Fermanagh District Council, could be the first of many, with event organiser Mark Kavanagh hoping to make the weekend bigger and better in 2012.
