SOUNDING BOARD, Sligo LEADER's music technology programme, would like to hear from any young people (ages 12 to 18) living in areas in Fermanagh and North Sligo with an interest in music production, sound recording, animation, sound track composition.

Four days of workshops are planned, July 16 and 17 will be in the SEFF Centre, Manderwood Park, Lisnaskea and July 18 and 19 will be in Grange Post Primary School, Grange, Co. Sligo.

Participants will need to sign up for all four days to get the most out of the workshops.

A bus will transport the participants between these two areas.

Young people will work together from these areas to produce finished pieces for the programme's website, www.youthgroupsligo.com and for future public performances.

The final day of the summer workshops will close with a performance for family and friends.

So if you are 12 to 18, from a rural part of N. Sligo and Fermanagh and are interested in spending some of your summer holidays making and recording music or animation, book your place by contacting Majella Flanagan on 071 9141138, mflanagan@sligoleader.com. Workshops and bus transport between venues are free but please bring packed lunches for the four days.
