Fermanagh’s country music sensation Lisa McHugh has landed a major television deal with Ireland’s first international satellite channel, Irish TV.

The Enniskillen resident’s new show ‘On the Road with Lisa’ will take country’s musical legends out of their comfort zones as they learn a series of new skills.

Viewers will see Lisa teaching Nathan Carter how to fish, racing dogs with Declan Nerney and learning to make sausages with Daniel O’Donnell.

On the Road with Lisa will air on Irish TV on Sky 191, Freesat 400, Eircom eVision 191 and online at irishtv.ie.

During this ten-week series familiar faces will explain the highs and lows of life on the road and talk candidly about lives lived in the spotlight.

“Presenting a country music show on Irish TV is a dream come true,” said Lisa.

“We just completed shooting the new series and I am delighted that stars such as Daniel O’Donnell and Nathan Carter were on the show.

“This is a music show with a difference. All our guests give us a real look at their lives off the stage and talk about the up and downs of a career in music.” On the Road with Lisa is part of a new season of programming on Irish TV that was unveiled at The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin this week.
