Police investigating a report that a middle-aged man was "hassling" a young girl arrived at a shop to find her crying. When they spoke to the man, 57-year-old Alexander Boyd, he insisted he had done nothing wrong and then attacked a police woman.
Average house sale price is £106,500
Fermanagh has been one of the cheapest places in Northern Ireland to buy a home, according to a new survey. In the last quarter of last year the average sale price of a house in Fermanagh and South Tyrone was £106,500.
Mother of four crashed and was three times legal limit
A 35-year-old mother of four found sitting in a crashed car in the early hours of the morning was over three times the legal alcohol limit. Donna Smith, of Carnwood, Lisnaskea, appeared at Fermanagh Court and admitted driving with excess alcohol. She was fined £300 and banned from driving for 18 months.

Carbon standard for College Campus
The Colleges of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise across Northern Ireland have been re-certified under the Carbon Trust Standard in recognition of progress made in reducing their carbon footprint and significantly cutting energy costs.

A well-known member of the community, Mrs. Lily Boyd, late of Derrin Road, Enniskillen, the widow of Reginald Boyd, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at the Erne Hospital on January 2, 2012, aged 93 years.
