Fermanagh's \"newest\" school opened its doors to-day.
Willowbridge School, which is an amalgamation of Elmbrook and Erne Schools in Enniskillen, operates on the sites of the two former schools at Derrygonnelly Road.
The new principal, Julie Murphy, welcomed the 113 children back for the start of the new school year.
Plans are being made for an extension of the Elmbrook site to accommodate all the pupils.
In addition to the 113 pupils, Willowbridge has a staff of 60 teachers and classroom assistants and caters for a wide range of abilities including those with profound learning problems who require specialist help.
See this week's Impartial Reporter on Thursday for a special report with photographs of Willowbridge's first day.
