SEAN Quinn junior has appeared in court charged with no insurance, failing to produce an insurance certificate and failing to produce a driving licence.
The son of former businessman, Sean Quinn, was brought from his cell at Mountjoy Prison to Dublin District Court on Thursday, where the charge was struck out.
He was dressed in a grey suit, white shirt and red tie during the brief hearing.
Judge John O'Connor heard Mr Quinn had forgotten to produce an insurance certificate to a garda after he was stopped on April 21, 2011 just as the family empire was being put into receivership.
Sean Jnr, of Farmleigh Woods in Castleknock, Dublin, was stopped on Conyngham Road in Dublin in a 07 D registered vehicle.
Garda David Cullen said a valid certificate had been produced on the morning of the hearing.
He faced charges of not having motor insurance and failing to produce a motor insurance certificate and a driving licence.
But the charges against Mr Quinn were struck out after the court heard he was validly insured.
