Donegal captain Michael Murphy used his Croke Park victory speech to single out Fermanagh's Rory Gallagher for his role in Donegal's stunning All-Ireland final success.
Murphy thanked Gallgher for his "great knowledge" of the game as the Donegal men celebrated a famous four point win over Mayo that was set up by two early goals.
Alongside Jim McGuinness, Rory Gallagher has helped transform Donegal's fortunes in under two years and they have now added the All-Ireland title to the two Ulster titles claimed in the last two years.
