The much anticipated Brewster Brawl proved to be a massive hit on Saturday night as a large attendance at the Fermanagh Senior Football team fundraising event enjoyed a great night's entertainment. The boxing was the centre piece of a full weekend of events and it did not disappoint with some terrific bouts on the night.

The evening started with Fermanagh PRO Johnny McManus stepping into the ring to take on Jamie Curran and it was Newtown's McManus who got the nod from the judges. This was followed by victory for Paul Ward over journalist Declan Bogue while after a keenly contested encounter, Kane Connor and Pee Treanor's bout was declared a draw.

And the fourth bout was also to end in a draw between Donna Owens and Bernie Smith.

One of the best tussles of the night saw Niall Bogue shade his fight with Marty O'Brien and this was followed by Shane McCabe's early awaited debut in the ring. And the self styled 'Pretty Boy' was in fine form as he clinched victory over Kevin Martin.

Ryan Hyde edged his bout with Brian Cox while, after an entertaining entrance, Fermanagh captain Ryan McCluskey had his arm raised following his bout with Chris Snow.

Tyrone senior player Mattie Donnelly came out on top against Tom Brewster while Raymie Gallagher was beaten by the experienced Anthony McHugh in the penultimate match up. And in the final bout of the night, Marty McGrath saw off the challenge of midfield partner Ryan Jones to round off a great night.
