A 59-YEAR-OLD woman and a 51-year-old woman have been returned for trial at Dungannon Crown Court each facing 18 charges relating to selling counterfeit goods.
Mary Bridget Duffield, 14 Kilmacrannell, Lisnaskea and Ellen Patricia Leonard, 4 Creevanmore Meadows, Omagh, appeared at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday this week, each facing 10 counts of trading in counterfeit goods, a further six for fraud using trade mark when goods sale and three counts of exhibiting articles which infringe copyright.
The charges relate to the events of October 26 and 29 and November 26 last year when it is alleged a number of counterfeit jewellery items were being sold at Clogher Market.
Some of the items carried brand names including Tiffany & Co, Thomas Sabo and Links of London.
In court the two defendants confirmed that they understood the charges against them.
District Judge Liam McNally adjourned their cases until January 15 when their trials will commence at Dungannon Crown Court.
