Pupils at a Fermanagh primary school are set to be shining examples for a special cause next week.
The charity Shine N.I. - which supports young children and adults who have either hydrocephalus or spina bifida, or in some cases both - will receive backing from a charity evening at Belleek Controlled Primary School on June 12.
The school in association with Shine N.I. is helping to raise people’s awareness of hydrocephalus and spina bifida.
During the day, the children will take part in a non uniform day and will turn out in something yellow and ‘shine for Shine N.I.’.
That evening, from 6pm to 8pm, Belleek Controlled P.S. will welcome Glen Garth Garden Centre, Belleek, when they hold an evening of planting flower baskets, tubs and containers, followed by a cake sale and raffle. All funds will go to the charity Shine N.I.
The charity evening at Belleek Controlled P.S. on June 12 starts at 6pm and will continue until 8pm. “Your support will be greatly appreciated,” said a representative, who mentions that everyone is welcome.
