Highly regarded Newtownbutler priest Canon Edward Murphy C.C. has died.
Canon Murphy, who was 95, died this peacefully this morning at 12.31 in the South West Acute Hospital.
The removal of his remains from the South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen will take place tomorrow (Sunday) at 12.45 to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Newtownbutler for 2pm.
Canon Murphy's remains will repose in St. Mary’s Church from then until Monday evening at 6pm.
Funeral Mass will take place at 3pm on Tuesday, with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
