Fermanagh 0-10 Meath 0-06

Fermanagh secured their first points in Division Two with a four point victory over 14-man Meath at Brewster Park today.
Pete McGrath's side, who have been unbeaten since June 2014 at their home venue, held a two point advantage at the break and appeared to be in the driving seat as the Royals had midfielder Andrew Tormey sent off after 23 minutes.
However, Meath made a good start to the second half, rattling over the first three scores to go into a 0-06 to 0-05 lead.
Fermanagh though regained the upperhand and five points in a row over the final 12 minutes clinched an important win for McGrath's team.
Fermanagh opened the scoring from the first attack of the game as captain Eoin Donnelly bombed over a long range effort although Meath replied with a free from distance from Michael Newman and a close in free from Sean Tobin.
Fermanagh were enjoying plenty of possession at midfield but on a heavy pitch they were finding it difficult to make inroads in the early stages.
However, they did carve open a goal chance in the 15th minute as Damian Kelly and Tomas Corrigan combined to set up Aidan Breen but he blasted his shot over the bar to level up proceedings once more.
The sides again swapped points with Cillian O'Sullivan landing a superb sideline ball before Quigley answered with a fine free from the right hand side.
This was then followed by the key moment of the half as Meath had midfielder Andrew Tormey sent off. He picked up a black card for blocking off Barry Mulrone and having already been booked for a high tackle on Ruairi Corrigan, referee Sean Hurson followed up with a red card.
And it was Fermanagh, with the extra man, who went on to finish the half stronger as Quigley converted a '45 and then registered a good score from play, catching a diagonal ball from Donnelly before slotting over.
Meath though did have a good goal chance when Newman raced through but he was denied by Fermanagh goalkeeper Chris Snow to leave the home side with a two point half time advantage.
Fermanagh enjoyed plenty of possession in the early stages of the second half but they failed to add to their tally and the 14 men hit back with three points in a row to move one ahead.
Donal Lenihan banged over a good point from play and then Sean Tobin landed a 45 and a free to edge the Royals ahead.
Fermanagh though were to get back on top as the game drew to a close.
Tomas Corrigan accounted for their first score of the half in the 58th minute when he converted a free to make it 0-06 apiece and the same player added another two frees to push Fermanagh in front.
A well worked Barry Mulrone point stretched the Fermanagh lead to three and the victory was secured in added on time as Corrigan clipped over his fourth free to leave it 0-10 to 0-06 at the finish.
