The Botha Parish Renovation Fund presents one of Ireland’s most successful and well known entertainers, Dana in Concert, on Friday, May 6, 2016 in St. Patrick’s Church, Derrygonnelly.

The long-established performer, who won the 1970 Eurovision Song Contest with “All Kinds of Everything,” is set to receive a warm welcome in the rural Fermanagh Parish.

A spokeswoman for the event, Martina Jones explained that they are renovating the three Churches: St. Patrick’s at Derrygonnelly, St. Faber’s at Boho, and Immaculate Conception at Monea.

She points out that the first renovation works at Monea are nearly completed, and that work will be starting on the next two renovations.

The project is a major one for the three churches in Botha Parish (Derrygonnelly), which is looking forward to presenting Dana in Concert.

The special evening is one of a number of upcoming fundraising initiatives, which include a walk to Croagh Patrick on June 4 and a Neven Maguire cookery demonstration on Wednesday, September 28.

As Botha Parish puts the final touches to preparations for the May 6 concert in St. Patrick’s Church, Martina says they are hoping for good support for the event. Everyone is extended a welcome.

The doors open at 7.30pm and the concert begins at 8pm sharp. Admission is £15.00 and tickets are available in the Graan; St. Michael’s Parish Office, Enniskillen; St. Michael’s Bookshop, Enniskillen; after all masses in Botha Parish; or by contacting Eileen on 028 66341748 or e-mailing ‘eileent12@hotmail.co.uk’. People can also pay at the door.
