Counting is underway at Omagh Leisure Centre for the 2016 Assembly Election.
The turnout of voters in Fermanagh South Tyrone has been announced: 64.55 per cent. That's down slightly from the 2011 election, when turnout was 68.95 per cent. This year, the eligible electorate was 74,257, with 47,934 total votes polled.
Fermanagh traditionally has a higher turnout than other constituenties in Northern Ireland and early indications show turnout in and around Belfast at between 50 and 57 per cent.
Sources say that DUP Leader Arlene Foster, who is due to arrive in the count centre soon, is expected to top the poll.
Sinn Fein's Michelle Gildernew and SDLP's Richie McPhillips have arrived ahead of the announcement of the first count.
This year, there are 13 candidates seeking election and there are six seats up for grabs in this constituency. In 2011, there were 11 candidates vying for election and the six successful candidates were: Michelle Gildernew (Sinn Fein) who topped the poll with 9,110; Tom Elliott (UUP) with 8,896; Arlene Foster (DUP) with 6,876 votes; Maurice Morrow (DUP) with 4,844; Sean Lynch (Sinn Fein) with 5,146 and Phil Flanagan (Sinn Fein) with 5,082 votes. The SDLP's Tommy Gallagher lost the seat and the party's candidate, Richie McPhillips, hopes to regain the seat.
