The Head Boy and Head Girl for Enniskillen Royal Grammar School have been appointed for when the school opens in September this year.

Head Boy is Andrew Crawford and Ellie Ingram is Head Girl.

Andrew studies Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics and is Captain of First XV Rugby team and Ulster School’s Bowl winning side, Member of School Brass Band. He hopes to study Medicine.

Ellie Ingram studies Biology, Chemistry, History and Mathematics. She is a member of Ulster Tag Rugby Champions squad, a member of All-Ireland Runner-Up squad in 2016 Contact Sevens Rugby competition, and a member of Hockey team. Like Andrew, she also plans to study Medicine.

They are supported by two Deputy Head Boys and Girls. Deputy Head Boy Morgan Bruce who studies Biology, Chemistry, Geography and History. He too is a member of First XV Rugby team and Ulster School’s Bowl winning side. He also plans to study Medicine.

Leigh Crozier is one of two Deputy Head Girls. She studies Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Technology and has achieved on the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. She plans to study Engineering.

Grace Kettyle, Deputy Head Girl studies Biology, Chemistry, Home Economics and Mathematics.

She is a member of Ulster Tag Rugby Champions squad, a member of All-Ireland Runner-Up-Squad in 2016 Contact sevens Rugby Competition, a member of 1st XI Hockey team and Captain of 2nd XI Hockey team, Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and a winner of awards at national cookery competitions.

Grace, who plans to study Medicine, has secured a place at the Cambridge University Medical Summer School.

Jack Wilson is also Deputy Head Boy. He studies English Literature, Geography, History and Technology.

He is a member of First XV Rugby team and Ulster School’s Bowl winning side.

He intends to study History at University with a view to a career in Law Enforcement.

In reflecting on their new leadership roles as the first senior pupil leaders for Enniskillen Royal Grammar School, the team spoke unanimously of their sense of honour and privilege in being given the responsibility of representing and leading the pupils in this, the first year of the new school.

Andrew Crawford, Head Boy, spoke of his strong aspirations for the new school which brings together two very successful schools to form one outstanding grammar school.

For Ellie Ingram, Head Girl, her priority is the development of a strong school community, in which relationships between pupils and staff are placed at the centre to ensure that all feel welcome and enabled to play an active part in school life.

Grace Kettyle is excited to be one of the first Deputy Head Girls of the new school, which promises to give its young people access to a sound education and many extra-curricular opportunities.

Morgan Bruce, one of the Deputy Head Boys, is looking forward to working alongside teaching and support staff to create a successful school community.
