Augher Central Primary School PTFA invites people to join them for a fundraising event for two local charities.

It will take place tomorrow, Saturday, June 25, at Augher Central Primary School and includes a Tractor Run and Family Fun Day.

Entertainment will be provided by Ritchie Remo and guests, and there will be a barbeque, bouncy castles and much more.

Registration for the Tractor Run opens at 12.30pm, with the run starting at 1pm. The Fun Day begins at 1.30pm. There will be raffle prizes and an auction at 3pm.

Proceeds from the event will be shared between the Intensive Care Unit at the Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital, Marie Curie, and school funds for a new outdoor play area.

Augher Central PTFA Chair Wendy McLaren says: “Marie Curie is a charity that has touched the lives of many people within the local community and we are delighted to hold this event to not only raise money for them, but raise awareness of the incredible work that they do.”

The Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Perinatal Trust Fund NI) is being supported by the event as care was provided to a sibling of pupils within the school.

Special guest Ritchie Remo said: “I’m looking forward to singing at Augher Tractor run on Saturday 25th June where all monies raised goes towards Marie Curie Cancer and Perinatal Trust Fund, two brilliant causes.” He says to come out and enjoy the crack and encourages people to bring along their tractors.

The organisers would urge everyone to come along and support these great causes.
