The Higher Bridges Gallery ‘Summer Show’ opened on Friday evening and the exhibition will continue until September 10.
The summer art exhibition has over 150 art works by artists from the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
The Summer Show was adjudicated by Colin Burns, Manager/Curator, Devenish Gallery, Enniskillen; Donna Bannon, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council Arts Forum and Coordinator of Sliabh Beagh Arts and Diane Henshaw, Arts Officer, Fermanagh and Omagh District Council. 
Prizes were awarded to Alison Dickson, who won first prize and received a two-week artist’s residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig; Mairead McCormack, who was second winning a solo exhibition as part of the Enniskillen Visual Arts Open trail and Noah Rose, who was placed third and won £150 towards artist materials.
Chairperson of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, Mary Garrity, said: “The Summer Show is a wonderful and diverse showcase of artwork from both amateur and professional artists. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is pleased to create this opportunity for artists from near and far to exhibit their work.” and for locals and visitors alike to visit such a dynamic show where so many art disciplines are on display.
The exhibition features a wide range of painting, drawing, print, sculpture and new media by artists including Alice Campbell, Alison Dickson, Ann McNulty, Barry Slevin, Billy Moore, Betty Guy, Bridie Smith, Catherine Swan, Ciaran Maginnis, Dorothee Kolle, Eamonn Harris, Eddie McNulty, Gavin McCrea, Genevieve Murphy, Helen McNulty, Jean MacSorley, Jerusha Marley, Jill Mulligan, Johanna Nulty, Julie Murphy, Katharine May, Kirsten Hodgson, Laura Angell, Leo Toye, Lorna Roberts, Mairead McCormack, Margaret Deignan, Maria Noonan McDermott, Mary Prior, Mary Ryan, Maureen O’Connor, Michelle Duffy, Muriel Morrow, Myrtle Dennis, Niall Sheerin, Niamh O’Connor, Noah Rose, Noelle McAlinden,  Olwyn Colgan, Patricia Kelly, Paul Speight, Rachel Leary, Robert Andrew Smyth, Ruth Bleakley-Thiessan, Sandra Corrigan Breathnach, Sarah Duddy, Sarah Langham, Selma Mayek, Sharon Seaney, Stephanie Marie McGowan, Talie Mau, Tara Moran Woods, Trina Hobson, Usna Macerlane and Wendy Ferguson.
The Higher Bridges Gallery is located in the Clinton Centre opens Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 4pm and Saturday 11am to 3pm. Admission is free.
