DUP Councillor Raymond Farrell has organised a meeting between the Western Trust and the local Parkinsons Support Group in Fermanagh.
“A very positive meeting which I facilitated between members of the local Parkinsons Support group and the Western Trust will be followed up by further meetings to ensure sufferers and Carers can both identify key issues that impact Parkinsons Disease sufferers locally as well as hearing from a Western Trust perspective how service need is being delivered.”
Councillor Farrell said the meeting explored issues which included current waiting lists, staffing needs as well as the perspective of carers.
“A very useful exchange took place and in which the local Parkinsons Support Group not only expressed concerns and how they would like further development but also their appreciation of the help that is given. It is hoped go meet again to further review progress in the months ahead,” he said.
