NORTHERN Ireland’s love of country music and having a laugh is no secret and in comedian William Caulfield’s upcoming show in The Ardhowen Theatre, both are certainly catered for!

In a departure from his solo stand-up shows, Caulfield has one of the young rising stars of the country music scene, Seany Mac, who recently won ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Irish World awards in London, as his support act.

Not only will laughter be guaranteed as Caulfield takes to the stage to take a comedic look at what is happening in our lives at present, but the country music fans will be catered for as well in the first half with Seany Mac performing his hit songs such as Jive Jive Jive, along with Tears in Mama’s Eyes from his new album Love a Little and many more.

The popular comedian said: “Due to my work as guest entertainer all over the world on the cruise ships, this is my last opportunity to perform on land this year for my home audiences and I wanted it to be different from what I had done before.

I’m a fan of the vibrant country music scene here and mixed with local humour this will be a great night out for all ages.”

With a keen eye and ear for all the things that make us laugh, and with his home grown style of humour, William has endeared himself across all the generations not only in Ireland but wherever he has gone on land or sea!

He has material that is family friendly but absolutely hilarious. He has the knack of seeing the funny in our everyday situations and sharing that with us in his inimitable style.

William Caulfield’s Country and Comedy will be staged at The Ardhowen Theatre on Friday, September 16, starting at 8pm.
