The Oxfam Enniskillen shop recently held a special coffee morning to recognise the hard work and commitment of their loyal volunteers.

Many of the team have given decades of inspirational service to the Oxfam shop in Enniskillen. The event, which took place in the Oxfam shop in Townhall Street, offered a rare opportunity for the entire team of staff and volunteers to gather and share in the success with their colleagues.

Oxfam Enniskillen shop manager, Loretta Cullen paid tribute to the volunteers: “We wanted to pay tribute to all the service that the team have given to Oxfam over the years, so we decided to throw a special coffee morning as a ‘thank you’.

“The coffee morning went really well, and it was great to have the team together to celebrate the success our hard work has achieved.”

She continued: “It’s impossible to measure the enormous contribution that the team have made over many years, by ‘giving something back’ to the local community and, in turn, to vulnerable people in the developing world.”

Oxfam Ireland’s District Regional Manager, Mark Kinneen, who presented the team with cards and badges to thank them for their decades of hard work and commitment, said: “We wish to thank the team at this special event, which is well deserved after many years’ outstanding service dedicated to raising money to help those in need and crisis around the globe.”

Oxfam’s Enniskillen store is looking for additional enthusiastic people eager to volunteer in the shop. Those who have an interest in volunteering, are encouraged to please pop into the shop at 29 Townhall Street or contact Loretta on 028 6632 4702.
