THE red carpet was out for the world premiere of the Summer Romance movie DVD filmed at the Ardhowen Theatre, which was held at the Killyhevlin Hotel.

The stars, all members of Fermanagh BrightStarz theatre company, received a rapturous applause as they descended from their limo and posed for photos before climbing the steps to a champagne reception followed by a gala dinner.

After the gala dinner the attendees watched the film premiere of their spectacular show and received a tumultuous standing ovation.

Patricia Goan, chairperson, said: “What this cast has achieved in their debut performance is wonderful. It is a credit to their hard work and commitment and to their families who have supported them throughout the year. I think people will perceive ‘disability’ differently after witnessing such a breathtaking show. This cast is paving the way for a more integrated and tolerant society.”

The Fermanagh BrightStarz are back in rehearsals for their next show, “The Wedding” in June 2017, which is inspired by Abba music.

The Fermanagh BrightStarz meet for rehearsals every Tuesday evening at The Enniskillen Hotel from 7pm to 9pm and it’s not too late to join. Everyone is welcome.
