Awards success was celebrated by 24-year-old businesswoman Grainne Moane recently when she scooped the runner-up prize at the 2016 Getting Married in Northern Ireland Reader Awards.
Grainne was “shocked and delighted” when she received the runner-up prize in the Best Bridal Makeup Artist category.
Grainne Moane Hair and Makeup has been in operation for five years and the busy entrepreneur is now based at the Killyhevlin Industrial Estate, Enniskillen.
Grainne had no idea the readers had voted for her until she received an email telling her she was in the final five.
“The readers vote for the finalists and the judges pick the winners, which were announced at a Gala Ball in the Ramada,” said Grainne.
“I took my sisters Aileen and Christine, my boyfriend Niall and six friends along with me so the pressure was on! “I couldn’t believe it. I was up against tough competitors. It’s great to get recognition for all your hard work.”
