FERMANAGH’s very own country queen, Lisa McHugh, will be celebrating a very successful 12 months with a huge dance in The Valley Hotel, Fivemiletown on New Year’s Eve.

Hailing from Glasgow and now residing in Enniskillen, the stunning 27-year-old is winning the hearts of fans up and down the country.

The gorgeous Glaswegian lassie has had a whirlwind of success this year, with dances and concerts both here and in the UK, as well as her new album, ‘#Country’, which was recently released and shot straight to number three in the Irish country charts.

Lisa has also recently released her very first live DVD, ‘#LisaLive’, which is a taster of what is in store in the fabulous show.

Born and raised in the countryside of Glasgow with her parents, Lisa grew up alongside her sister and two brothers.

With her mum and dad having firm roots in Ireland, her mum from Falcarragh in Donegal and dad from Castlederg in Tyrone, Lisa was always a regular to Irish shores.

With immense drive and determination, Lisa’s ambition to pursue a career in country music grew and in June 2010 she moved to Ireland, put together her band and got her show on the road.

Now with a crew of 10 and a show that has scores of people dancing all night long, Lisa is certainly living the dream.

Having gained thousands of fans, the bubbly beauty has won many awards to date including ‘Female Vocalist of The Year’ five years running and ‘Outstanding Achievement on the World Stage’ 2012 when she appeared on the Grand Ole Opry, the home of country music, as a guest of the legendary Gene Watson.

Lisa previously had her own TV show, “On The Road With Lisa”, on which the gorgeous Glaswegian captured hearts all over the country with her charisma and charm.

She is now one of the biggest names in Irish country music, and the young beauty is definitely one to watch after being named as ‘Female Artist of the Year’ at RTE’s first-ever Country Awards.

The star will be coming to the Valley Hotel, Fivemiletown this New Year’s Eve.

Doors open at 9pm, but get down early, as big crowds are expected.
